Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
H5mag Enterprise supports integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly known as Pardot). This allows you to track how readers interact with your publication and connect that data directly to your marketing automation and CRM systems.
When enabled, H5mag adds a tracker to each edition that sends page view data to your Salesforce account. This lets you:
- Track engagement with your digital publication
- Score leads based on article views and behaviors
- Connect visitor data to campaigns and CRM records
How to Set It Up
- Enable the option: “Enable Salesforce (formerly Pardot) trackers” in your project settings.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Salesforce piAid – Your Pardot Account ID (e.g.
413551
) - Salesforce piCid – A specific Campaign ID to associate with the tracking (optional)
- Salesforce Domain – Your Pardot tracking domain (e.g.
mycompany.com
)
- Salesforce piAid – Your Pardot Account ID (e.g.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Tracking only works when the required fields are correctly filled in.
- You don't need to manually add the tracking script to your publications. H5mag handles the integration automatically.
- If you change any of the Salesforce settings, your editions will be automatically updated to include the latest tracking info.
This feature makes it easier to measure performance, refine your campaigns, and keep your lead data connected across platforms.
